got dressed and ate my grape nuts with blueberries and raspberries and almond milk. took my vitamins. started to put up my Christmas tree, but I misplaced all those miles of tulle that I stuff the tree with, so it can look like this:

 

which is what it looked like last year. just like a Barbie disco tree! but instead right now, it is just a sad scraggly thing.

but really truly i am just waiting out until my best friend in the entire world, Liz

gets to my house, and she should be here within the hour! she is staying for a few days with her husband and she is pregnant and i have not seen her since August. Anais Nin said that, "Each friend represents a world within us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by meeting that a new world is born." That is just how Liz makes me feel.
