closet space

we have a lot of closets in the new place, and at every other home Tim and I have made, I've taken over the master closet. But I thought I'd take the hit this time, be democratic and all, and give it to him. I thought it'd be a bummer having my clothes and shoes and what not split up in 7 different places, but it's actually THE BEST THING EVER! I'm wearing clothes I completely forgot I owned in ways I would've never though of had everything stayed in one lump. I just say, "I think I'll wear a skirt today," and I go to that closet, pick one, and then hunt around the others. It's like shopping in different departments at my dream department store.
