early bird for breakfast.

woke up early and washed my hair. took a long bath and watched a poor squirrel fall 15 ft from the top of our old oak trees. i thought i was a long from all the wind, hearing the thud it made on the ground. but then it ran off and logs don't have legs. at least not here. i made wheat cinnamon banana pancakes with honey and shiny happy smiling eggs. whenever i eat eggs, on the rare occasion, i have to think of them as bright yellow things and not bright yellow things with little feathers that squeak squeak squeak all the way home. 

we finally found an authentic set of horseshoes yesterday and plan on playing the morning away with yard games and bike rides to the grocery. still sick and spacey.
